THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE 


For the last three years, the staff, volunteers and consumers of Community Care Connections, Inc. collected food and assembled packages for Thanksgiving Holiday Dinners. The packages are distributed to our consumer families who are experiencing financial challenges and may not have the means to afford a festive meal with all the trimmings. These families are also given a frozen turkey or a voucher to purchase the meat of their choice for their holiday meal. Staff and volunteers also manned a table outside Friedmans at Point Plaza Shopping Center to collect donations of food and money for this project.

We extend our thanks to all who donated time, food and financial resources to make Thanksgiving a little more special for those in need. This year the staff prepared packages for 26 families. The packages were distributed the week before Thanksgiving.
