Community Care Connections, Inc. provides Fiscal/Employer Agent (F/EA) services to participants in the Attendant Care Program or the Attendant Care, OBRA and Independence Waivers who choose to accept the responsibility for taking a direct role in managing their services by becoming a Participant-Employer.  By using the F/EA service, participant’s lives can be enhanced by having choice and control.  Community Care Connections, Inc. F/EA will assist the participant by providing the following services:

• Provide orientation and training for the Participant and their Direct-Care workers.

• Enroll participant as an employer with all applicable federal, state and local agencies.

• Provide assistance with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and supervising workers.

• Process Payroll for Direct Care workers, including distribution of paychecks, making deductions for all appropriate taxing entities as well as other withholdings according to federal and state regulations.

• Complete Federal, State and Local Tax reporting for the Participant-Employer.

• Managing Direct-Care workers Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation.
